Unintentional Passive Islanding Detection and Prevention Method with Reduced Non-Detection Zones

Islanding detection and prevention are involved in tandem with the rise of large- small-scale distribution grids. To detect islanded buses, either voltage or frequency variation has been considered literature. A modified passive islanding strategy that coordinates V-F (voltage–frequency) index was developed to reduce non-detection zones (NDZs), an operation is proposed this article. Voltage were measured at each bus check violation limits by implementing strategy.
